Dan McNulty
Dan McNulty has built a 30 year career in institutional real estate, advising many of the largest public and private companies with regard to their businesses. McNulty’s core focus has been identifying and raising the optimal source of growth or rescue equity and developing capital structures tailored to meet and support a client’s particular goals.
Previously, McNulty was the Managing Partner of Brookfield Financial’s US investment banking business from 2014-2019. During his tenure at Brookfield, the US business originated over $25B in transactions in advisory investment banking services including M&A, corporate advisory, and capital markets transactions. Prior to Brookfield, McNulty worked from 1993-2014 as President of Rockwood Real Estate Advisors and Co-Head of their capital markets / restructuring group for CW Capital. McNulty’s experience included over $10B in CMBS workouts and debt restructurings. McNulty’s recent notable clients include: Extra Space, HCP, NSA, Store Capital, NorthStar, GEAM, BedRock, Heitman, Brookfield, William Warren Group, TIAA-CREF, Nuveen, Seavest Healthcare Properties, Colony Capital, and VEREIT.
Marc Amico
Marc Amico is responsible for origination of new business, project management of client mandates and coverage for institutional investors and family offices in North America. He is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. Amico was most recently a Vice President in Evercore’s Real Estate Private Capital Advisory Group, where he advised clients on raising capital for joint ventures, asset level recaps, entity level recaps, fund restructurings and LP secondary sales.
Prior to joining Evercore, Amico was a Vice President in Perella Weinberg’s Real Estate Advisory practice where he focused on M&A advisory for various types of real estate companies. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg, Amico was an Associate in Barclays’ Real Estate Investment Banking Group, where he provided both capital markets and M&A advisory for major public and private REITs, gaming and lodging companies. Previously, Amico was a Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting, where he provided restructuring and consulting services in the real estate, mortgage lending, media, automotive and airline industries.

Prior to joining BlackBirch Capital, Amanda Doster served on the Transactions team at Harrison Street, a leading investment management firm exclusively focused on alternative real assets. During her six-year tenure, Doster played a pivotal role in sourcing, negotiating, and closing real estate transactions with a focus on medical office, life sciences, self-storage, and data centers. At Harrison Street, Doster was responsible for over $7 billion of the firm’s acquisition and development portfolio.
